Fabric structures have many applications at schools and parks, from playgrounds and bleachers to walkways. Fabric Structures are not only practical, they also add color and status.
Most structures are custom made to fit the required space but some basic understanding is helpful to assist in decision making.

In the meantime, here is a little primer on the concept...
FABRIC STRUCTURES CAN BE DIVIDED INTO TWO BASIC CATEGORIES
Drape over structures (The fabric is draped over and supported by a frame)
and
Tensile structures (The fabric is tensioned between structural supports)
The fabric is draped over and supported by a frame
Structures can be square, rectangular, triangular, hexagon or most other shapes
Structures are generally symmetrical
Structures can be connected so that supports are shared between structures
Structures can cantilever (hang over) with supports on one side or in the center
